Chandler: You dont think Ive tried? You think I like having 50 dollars taken out of my bank account every month? No, they make you go all the way down there! Then they use all of these phrases and peppiness to try and confuse you! Then they bring out Maria.
Ross: They make you take an oath?
Chandler: Okay. (They go inside) (To the guy at the desk) I wanna quit the gym.
Chandler: Were doomed. Okay, theyre gonna take 50 bucks out of our accounts for the rest of our lives. What are we gonna do?
(Joey does so, and they both start dancing. Treeger tries to spin Joey, but ends up throwing him into the door.)
Joey: Come on Treeger, dont say that. You just ahh, you just need more practice. Here, come on, lets ahh, lets try it again. Come on. (they start dancing again) Plus, it was, it was probably mostly my fault, anyway. I mean, yknow, Im not really that comfortable dancing with a(Treeger throws him) We-he!! Hey!
(They both get up and Monica expects Joey to take the lead, but he doesnt, and they fumble around for a little bit.)
[Scene: Ross and Chandlers bank, they are there to close their accounts.]
(They start to kiss, then Rick stops suddenly.)
Phoebe: (laughs) Okay, quit down. (they start to kiss again)
Phoebe: I just-I just started walking around not knowing what to do next, yknow? I-I started asking people on the street if they wanted massages. Then these policemen, thought I was a whore too. Its been a really bad day, whore wise.
Phoebe: Yeah, they thought I was a whore.
Monica: I love you. (They kiss.)
(They all open their envelopes.)
Amy: Now listen, not that you guys could stop me or anything cause you know you'd be dead. I was thinking about changing her name. I'm just not really a big fan of Emily. [Transcriber note: I'm surprised that Rachel and Ross didn't say they weren't either here]
DR. BURKE: Yeah, it sure does. [they hug and it turns into a passionate kiss]
Monica: Hey, they dont pay me a penny a word to make friends.
Chandler: Honey I... I love your breasts the way they are!
Monica: Yeah! (They turn to the camera, and Chandler does The Face again.) All right, maybe you dont have to smile. Lets try something else. Lets try umm, try looking sexy.
Mr. Treeger: Well Im gonna have to put on a new lock, theyll find out anyway.
Ross: Yeah. The bartender said that they split up into two search parties, the herbivores and the carnivores. (pause) You know, we as a group are not the coolest.
(Monica plays those words back in her mind and then smiles and runs to Chandler, who is twisting with joy. They hug.)
Monica: Oh, about five minutes. Right now theyre interviewing his opponent. Apparently he trains by going to Iran and pulling the arms off thieves.
Phoebe: (catching it) I got it! Mine! (They both hug)
(They all leave but Ross, but they all come back a few seconds later. They make faces at the baby.)
Chandler: Course there, they just call it food.
Monica: Okay. (They walk away to get some privacy.) We have got to beat them! {Here we go yet again.}
Joey: You got it. Come here. (They hug and are observed by the hooker.)
Monica: And they love me!
Phoebe: Yes, she gives the people what they want.
Joey: Why are they doing this?
(They sit down on the couch.)
[We close with a bunch of scenes where they screw up and make weird noises. It finishes with.]
(They both start laughing again.)
Courtney: I love you! (They hug.)
Phoebe: (holding a card and waving it in front of her face) Hey you guys, look, the one-eyed jack follows me wherever I go. (they look at her) Right, OK, serious poker.
(They kiss. Ross is watching them)
(They stop when they see Ross who has to struggle to get out of the bed.)
Phoebe: No. They said you 'Weren't believable as a human being.' So, you can work on that.
(They all go pack except for Ross.)
Charlie: Me too. (she and Benjamin are hugging for very long and Ross starts pretending to clear his throat, until they stop)
Joey: I guess I'm going to have to come up with a really good reason why I wasn't there. The producers are going to be so mad at me. They sat us all down yesterday and said "Everyone has to be there at 6:00 AM sharp, that means you Tribbiani." Like.. like I was some kind of idiot.
Chandler: They...do that?
Conan: Its a tradition here on Friends after every taping for me to hang out with you guys, (They all laugh) talk down the episode umm The point of this whole thing is what people see in America is: they see Friends, they love the show, it looks like a smooth running machine, but behind the scenes theres deceit, mistrust, and hate. And I thought, I thought wed actually take a look at uh, yknow some of these moments where you guys arethere are mistakes. You make mistakes.
Rachel: Thank you. (She sets it on the floor and is about to stomp on it with her shoe when the rest of the gang jumps up and yells simultaneously.) What? (They all yell again.) You dont want to see this do you?
Rachel: You guys are gonna love meee! Okay, check it out, Thursday night, five tickets, Calvin Klein lingerie show, and you guys are coming with me. (theyre all silent and look away) Okay, I said that out loud right?
Rachel: What? This-this, no, oh no, no-no-no, this is notthats-thats not what it is. See, see, okay, I work in fashion, see and-and, this is a real dress actually. Its-its, theyre-theyre wearing it in Milan, so part of my job is too wear the clothes, and then I see how people respond, and then I report back to my superiors at Bloomingdales, so And obviously in uh, in-in this case, (She grabs a pen and paper) I am going to report back, "USA not ready."
(they fight a little, the phone falls and Monica picks it up)
[Scene: Monica and Chandlers bedroom, theyre getting ready.]
Phoebe: Does a dog's lips move when he reads? (Joey makes an `I don't know' face, and looks to Chandler and Rachel, who're also stumped) Okay, no they don't.
Manny: (looking at the sofa) Where did they go?
(they break the wishbone)
(they all keep staring at Phoebe)
(They move into kiss but are interrupted by Joey knocking on the door.)
(they all jump up excitedly and try to see the ticket)
(they all look at Ross)
(They all glare evilly at Phoebe)
Phoebe: You know, did you ride mopeds? 'Cause I've heard... (they stare at her)... oh, I see... it's not about that right now. OK.
Phoebe: Was it my work? Were they mad? Was it Jack? Did he yell?!
(They lean in to kiss and are interrupted by the phone.)
Chandler: Yes. Yes, there is, they play on Sundays and Monday nights.
Phoebe: He said, "Nice to meet you Glenda." (They stare at her, dumbfounded) Well, obviously I couldn't give him my real name?
(They enter the lecture hall to find Ross speaking in an English accent for some unknown reason.)
Paul: Oh, here they are right here. (Picks them up from underneath the corner of the couch.)
Ross: Who gets whom. (They all look at him.) I dont know why I do that.
[Cut to Phoebe in Rosss new apartment looking at Monica and Chandler and what theyre about to do in The One Where Everybody Finds Out.]
Phoebe: I'm sorry too... (they hug)
Phoebe: Well, I, I like the idea of naming him after someone I love, and Joey and Chandler are great names. (They both stare at her.) But, all right, I dontmaybe Ill just name him The Hulk.
(They pause, and they the start kissing passionately, and taking off each others clothes, and they start to lie down on the pool table.)
Monica: Who, who are they?
(They all kiss her and wish her luck.)
Chandler: If they cant find a home for her, they kill her! And Im not gonna let that happen to little Yasmine!
Charlie: Stop it, stop it! He talks slow but he might pee fast! Ok, let's go!! (they run outside)
Janine: I dont know, theyre just a little blah!
JOEY: They can't kill me, I'm Francesca's long lost son.
Rachel: Okay, calm down, here they are. (Gives back the sunglasses.)
Chandler: How can she be great if shes from Poughkeepsie? (laughs, at they all look at him) That joke wouldve killed in Albany.
(They don't move, just look all around them.)
Monica:: I cannot tell you how happy that makes me! (They hug)
Joey: And Rachel. I would've told you but they made me promise not to tell!
Ross: Ok. (they both go)
Monica: Im sorry, they surprised me. There was nothing I could do!
(They kiss and start undressing. As Rachel tries to pull off Ross's tie she catches it in his mouth. Then they roll across the fur rug.)
Joey: Which one, they all suck!
(They both start laughing. There's a knock on the door.)
Phoebe: (watching around and whispering) Ok, are they listening?
Chandler: Okay. (They both realize what he just said.)
Joey: Well to tell you the truth, they uh, (Pause) they had a problem with the bag!
(they hug)
Monica: Money! (they all look at her) Friends...
Joey: (sitting on the otherside of the counter from Chandler) Gimme a box a juice. Well, they switched me over to Hombre.
[Outside the window, Monica and Chandler jog up. Monica playfully pushes him. They start puching and slapping harder and harder until Monica pushes him down. Chandler stands up, with a serious expression, and chases her away.]
Joey: What are they doing out here? The coasts all the way over there. (Points to the coast.)
Rachel: Gee, I always heard them talk about that, I just always thought that it was a club they went to. Oh God, Im, Im sorry. (walks away)
Phoebe: Ok. (they walk away together)
Rachel: Yes!! I mean sex does not have to be a big deal! There shouldnt be all this rules and restrictions! Yknow, people should be able to sleep with who ever they want, whenever
Phoebe: Oh my God! (they hug)
[They keep flicking each other. This turns into slapping each other. This leads to wrestling on the floor. All the while Phoebe is saying "Happy thoughts". Eventually Phoebe gets fed up.]
Joey: Well thats true. And I am only naked in one scene. Plus it sounds really great. My characters catholic and he falls in love with this Jewish girl. Who run away together and they get caught in this big rainstorm. So we go into this barn and undress each other and hold each other. Its really sweet and-and tender.
(they hug)
Chandler: Yeah, we were just talking about that. I can't believe how stupid we used to look. (They both quickly push their sleeves over their elbows.)
Ronni: Now, y'see, most people, when their pets pass on, they want 'em sorta laid out like they're sleeping. But occasionally you get your person who wants them in a pose. Like, chasing their tail, (Demonstrates) or, uh, jumping to catch a frisbee.
Rachel: They made you head of the department!
Monica: And when I told her that I was gonna be moving in with Chandler, she was really supportive. (To Rachel) (Starts to cry) You were so great. You made it so easy. And now you have to leave. And I have to live with a boy!! (They both break down in tears.)
(they just look at her for a moment; then they go back to checking the tickets)
Rachel: Thank you. (they walk away)
Monica: I highly doubt that. (they both go to the bathroom)
Ross: Hey! High-five! (they high-five)
Ross: Oh! (She kisses him) Ah. (They kiss more, and move down onto the couch. Ross's hand moves under some garbage) Aw! (His hand is covered with something brown and gooey.)
Joey: Yeah. (they leave)
Phoebe: Yes! (they hug)
Ross: (not paying attention) Yeah, they dont like you.
