PHOE: No, you are not, you are very attractive. You know what, I go through the exact same thing. Every time I put on a little weight, I start questioning everyting.
RACH: Hey Phoebs, how'd it go with Scott last night?
RACH: Well. [looks at watch] Woah, look at that! I gotta go, I gotta date. With a man. Um, OK, you guys have a really, uh, have a really good night and you two have a, uh, have a, uh, really good cat. [she leaves carrying her tray then comes back in] OK, we're not supposed to take these when we leave.
[Scene: Chandler and Joey's apartment. Chandler is answering the door in his robe.] CHAN: No, no, no, no, no, no [opens door to Monica] No. Monica, it's Sunday morning. I'm not running on a Sunday. MNCA: Why not? CHAN: Because it's Sunday. It's God's day. MNCA: OK, if you say stop, then we stop. CHAN: OK, stop. MNCA: No, c'mon, we can't stop, c'mon, we've got three more pounds to go. I am the energy train and you are on board. Woo-woo, woo-woo, woo-woo [Chandler walks out of the apartment, leaving Monica] Woo. [Scene: Rachel and Monica's apartment. Rachel is taking asprin. Ross enters.] ROSS: Hey Rach. RACH: Ahhhh. ROSS: Oh. And how was the date? RACH: Umm, I think there was a restaurant... I know there was wine. . . [Rachel looks at Ross as though she remembers something, but can't place what it is.]
ROSS: Wow, well uh, uh, actually, Julie's downstairs getting a cab, I just need the cat toy, did Monica say. . . What? Why, why are you looking at me like that? RACH: I don't know, I, I feel like I had a dream about you last night but I, I don't remember. ROSS: OK. Oh, oh, oh. [runs over and picks up the cat toy] RACH: Did we speak on the phone last night? Did you call me? ROSS: No, I stayed at Julie's last night. RACH: Huh. ROSS: Oh, actually I haven't even been home yet. Do you mind if I check my messages? RACH: Oh yeah, go ahead. [Rachel walks in her room. Ross picks up the phone and dials his machine to check his messages.] ROSS: Rach, I got a message from you. [pauses] Who's Michael? [Rachel comes out of her room, suddenly she remembers leaving the message.]
ROSS: Well, OK, I uh, I have to. I can't deal with this right now. I mean, I've uh, y'know, I've got a cab, I've got a girlfriend, I'm... I'm gonna go get a cat.
JOEY: All right Phoebs, way to go.
RACH: Alright, fine, you go ahead and you do that, alright Ross.
RACH: And ya know what, now I've got closure. [Rachel slams the door and locks it. She sits down, visibly upset. She puts her head in her hands and begins to cry. Ross comes back and is standing outside the window. When Rachel regroups and gets back up to finish closing, she sees him. She smiles. She goes to open the door and can't get the lock undone.] ROSS: Try the bottom one. [She opens the door and they kiss.] [Scene: Chandler and Joey's apartment. Chandler answers the door to find Monica.] CLOSING CREDITS CHAN: Monica, it's 6:30 in the morning. We're not working out, it's over. MNCA: No way, with one pound to go, c'mon. We're workin', we're movin', we're in the zone we're groovin'. CHAN: OK, I don't, I don't mind the last pound. OK, in fact I kind of like the last pound. OK, so don't make me do anything that I'll regret. MNCA: Ooh, what'cha gonna do, fat boy, huh? What? CHAN: Nothing, except tell you, uh, I think it's wonderful how much energy you have. MNCA: Well, thanks. CHAN: I mean, especially considering how tough it's been for you to find work. MNCA: Well, you know. CHAN: You know, I mean, you can't tell your parents you were fired because they'd be disappointed. MNCA: [sad] Uh-huh. CHAN: And it's not as if you have a boyfriend's shoulder to cry on. MNCA: Well no, but um. CHAN: I mean, if it were me, I think I'd have difficulty just getting out of bed at all. MNCA: Y'know, I try to stay positive. . . CHAN: So, you feel like goin' for a run? MNCA: Alright. CHAN: Because, you know, you don't have to. If you want, you could just take a nap right here. MNCA: OK. Just for a little while. CHAN: OK. [Puts an afghan over her and dances into his room]
Rachel: I mean y'know, I'm thinking. You could bring her, and you guys could go up to your old room, and not make out.
Monica: I have like five times, but the guy is so charming, that I go up there to yell and then I end up apologizing to him.
ROSS: No, um, see 'cause that, that is, that is the staging area. If you go in there, it'll ruin the whole illusion of the party. Yeah, I think you take your scotch back in there and I will get your cigarettes for you sir.
Rachel: Hey, how'd it go?
Joey: Fine, fine, so, why don't the four of us go out and have dinner together tonight? You know, as friends?
Chandler: Okay, so when do you want to go?
Rachel: Okay, here we go. (Pushes play.)
Rachel: Thank you! Hey, how'd the catering go?
Chandler: Hey, how'd it go? How'd she like the gift?
Joey: Well, anyway, I got to go change, Im ah, meeting some of the cast for drinks.
Casey: Here you go.
JOEY: Supposably. Supposably. Did they go to the zoo? Supposably.
Rachel: Okay. (They go into the living room.)
Ross: (breaking the hug) Ohh, I gotta go to the flower store! (Runs to the door.) Check it out, no one will tell me where Emily is, so I'm gonna send 72 long-stem, red roses to Emily's parent's house, one for each day that I've known and loved her. That oughta get her talking to me again.
Ross: Yeah, Im gonna go to a doctor who went to school in a mini-mall.
Monica: How would that go? (they kiss) Well, it didn't rhyme, but I liked it.
Phoebe: (pushing Monica back onto the couch) Its so inspired! Look at him! Look at him go!
Joey: No-no-no, I think Im gonna see how things go with Kathy. Shes pretty cool.
Joey: (voice-over) ...and he couldnt let it go, and... I dont really know what happened with that either.
Ross: Well, I'm gonna go get ready, (Gives Monica the fist thing.) for my date tonight, so ah, I'll just_ head.
Monica: No, my eye doctor is Richard! I cant go to him when I dont have a boyfriend!
Phoebe: Honey, youve got to go. Whats his office number?
Rachel: And y'know what, Im gonna, Im gonna go to bed now, but ah, on my way to work tomorrow morning, Im gonna stop by around 8:30.
Phoebe: Well, oh, ok now... Only one of us has to stay with Emma. Ok, and as the person who realized that, I get to go!
CAROL: Think I better go before mommy starts weeping.
Amanda: I appreciate this soo much, I've been trying to go out with this guy for like a month.
Pete: One meal! Thats all Im asking for. Please? We go out, we eat, and if you dont have a good time, I give you ten grand, we call it even.
Joey: Ah. Hm. (To Kathy) Wanna go to bed?
Phoebe: Good. (Phoebe and Mrs. Burkart go into the other room, leaving Monica with everyone staring at her.)
Joey: Uhh, thats not them. Im gonna go call the police.
Ross: (calming down) Yeah, I know. I mean, no, youre right. Yeah I guess Ill let it go. But you-you understand how-how hard it is to forget about this.
Monica: No, its okay, not only did I get to go out with Chip Matthews, I got to dump Chip Matthews.
Monica: Oh! Do you need me to go with you?
Monica: Look, I-Im never gonna let you up so you may as well just go away.
Phoebe: (on intercom) Hey, do you need to get in? Here you go.
Chandler: Monica, that was also true an hour ago! I mean, please, look at you! Your hand is blistered, you can barely stand, your hair is inexplicable! Ok, you've already proven you are just as good as he is, now we've missed our dinner reservations, so now let's just go upstairs, order room service, take a shower and shave your head!
RICHARD: Um, we should go too, I got patients at 8 in the moring.
Joey: Yeah! All right? Lets go!
Kathy: You must really like... Joey... to go to all that trouble for him.
Joey: So let me get this straight. If you go with Bonnie tonight, youre doing the smart, healthy thing and moving on.
Ross: Y'know what, 100 million people went to see a movie about what I do, I wonder how many people would go see a movie called, Jurassic Parka.
Chandler: Thanks, its ah, Gaelic, for Thy turkeys done. So ah, Im gonna go, nice, nice meeting you.
RACHEL: I can't believe I don't get to go to my own prom, this is so harsh.
Ross: Here they come, here they come. Oh-ho, if she kisses him goodnight, Im gonna kill myself, I swear. I cant, I cant watch this. (turns away, then quickly turns to look again) Come on, date over! Date over! Uh-oh, here we go, shes going in.
Rachel: No! None! I mean, my first night in the city, he mentioned something about asking me out, but nothing ever happened, so I just... (to Joey): W-well, what else did he say? I mean, does he, like, want to go out with me?
Ross: Well maybe he'll get to go soon, like on a class trip or something.
Joey: Ye-ye, we go to yours!
Monica: (brings a plate of tiny appetizers over) Here you go, maybe this'll cheer you up.
Phoebe: All right, Im gonna go take a pregnancy test, right now.
Ross: Just go for it Chandler.
Monica: Go on.
Chandler: All right. I will go out and I will try to find something for her, okay?
David: Yes I can. Because if I go it means I have to break up with you, and I can't break up with you.
Monica: (getting up) All right, Ill go down there. But, Im not gonna serve the lasagna. Im gonna serve something I make.
Rachel: Well if you go to Disneyland, you dont spend the whole day on the Materhorn.
Emily: I cant believe theyre doing that to him! I told them to go easy on him!
Ross: All right, there you go!
Rachel: Oh, go on! You telling people about me?
Ross: The one with the cat. I gotta go, Ive got another date.
Rachel: How did it go?
(They all go over and hug Phoebe.)
Monica: Maybe I can try at intermission? Phoebe, come on... you know what? Let's just go!
Monica: Uh, so, uh, Rach, uh... do you wanna save this wrapping paper, I mean, it's only a little bit torn... so are you gonna go for it with Ross or should I just throw it out?
Phoebe Sr.: Ill go in a second, I-I just wanted to tell you that there hasnt been a day where I didnt regret giving you up.
Tom: I'm gonna go talk to uh, a friend.
Rachel: Yeah, yeah, you go talk to your friend. You tell him, "Nice try."
(They go get a drink.)
Chandler: So uh, man, are you gonna go to the play with me tonight?
Chandler: 98. 99. 100. Okay, go!
Monica: No, wait, please dont go! Ive got porn for you too!
Phoebe: Ooh! (They all go over to her apartment)
MNCA: Alright, here you go, sweetie. [hands Fun Bobby his coffee]
Joey: Yeah, I guess it is. (sees Kate is watching, he turns Lauren so that he can talk directly to Kate, but still look like he is talking to Lauren) Listen, I ah, I gotta say good bye, and-and I gotta say it quick cause this is killing me. One thing you gotta know, is that I will never forget you. But, youve got things you have to do now, and so do I. And so Im gonna get on this spaceship, (smoke starts pouring in from the ceiling, and a ladder comes down, with flashing, colored lights on the side of it) and Im gonna go to Blargon 7 in search of alternative fuels. But when I return, 200 years from now, youll be long gone. But I wont have aged at all. (gets on the ladder) So you tell your great-great-granddaughter to look me up, because Adrienne, baby, Im gonna want to meet her.
Joey (to Chandler): Look, c'mon, please? It's not like I'm asking for some crazy favour. This is what I do for a living. I am a professional actor! (he glances at his watch and sees the time) Oh, man, I'm two hours late for work! (he stands, ready to go). Look, here's a copy of my reels. It's got all the commercials that I've been in.
Chandler: Here we go! Here we go!
Phoebe: Okay thats even sadder. Look, I know, I know what I got myself into, its just that now that theyre in me its like, its like I know them yknow, I mean-I mean, its just not gonna be easy when these little babies have to go away.
Rachel: I dont even know how I would go about it.
Chandler: David, let me stop you there 'cause I think I see where this is going. I'm not very good at giving advice. So if you want advice, go to Ross, Monica, or... Joey, if the thing you wanna advice about is pizza toppings or burning sensation when you pee.
Danny: You two could really hit it off! I'm gonna go mingle. (Leaves.)
(They all go over to her apartment.)
Joey: Howd it go?
Monica: So? How did it go with Joshua last night?
Chandler: Ahh, come on! Yknow whatyknow what, I think Im just gonna go home and call Kathy.
Monica: Oh wait, Joey, you cant go like that! You stink!
Chandler: Okay, Im going to go stand over there. (Points and moves into the living room.)
Joey: I wanted to go to the strip club!
Ross: Well, you shouldve seen the guy that she used to go out with. I mean, hes like Joe Rugby.
Rachel: Yes! And not because I want you to go out with me, but because I dont want you to go out with anybody! Okay? I know its a terrible thing to even think this, and its completely inappropriate, but I want you to be at my constant beck and call 24 hours a day! Im very sorry, but that is just the way that I feel.
Joey: Im gonna go down there and teach that guy a lesson.
Ross: Hey! Howd the ah, basketball go?
Joey: Look no, I-I know its bad, and I know its wrong. Okay? But-but its not like anythings ever gonna happen. Yknow? These-these are just feelings, theyre gonna go away.
Monica: Now Joey, you go down there and you suck up to him. I mean you suck like youve never sucked before!
Mrs. Lynch: (starting to cry) No, Im sorry. I have to go. (She leaves as Sophie arrives.)
Ross: Yeah, shes got to go back to London. But you know what? Ive been prepared for this from the start. We both knew we had two weeks together, and thats it. Yknow.
Chandler: We cant tell him, you cant go up to a guy you barely know and talk about his.... stuff.
Joey: (voice-over) Oh, and then Monica joked that she wouldnt go out with a guy like Chandler...
Joey: Dude, if you go back out there, youre gonna be Dead Ross!
Phoebe: Now, are you sure you dont want to go see a doctor?
Chandler: Well, I-I guess I gotta go.
Ross: I know, but ahhhhhh!! I really wanna go up there and finish that kiss!
